HYPER BARIC OXYGEN THERAPY

HYPER BARIC OXYGEN THERAPY involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized environment. It is a well established treatment for decompression sickness. In a Hyper Baric Oxygen Chamber the air pressure is increased to 2 to 3 times higher than normal air pressure under theses conditions, lungs gather much more oxygen than would be possible breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure. When blood carries this extra oxygen throughout your body, which helps bacteria and stimulate the release of substances called growth factor and stem cell, which promote healing.
